Søndre Sjøbod

In 2007-2008 we rehabilitated Søndre Sjøbod in Tønsberg. The house, which was protected in 1924, is part of the farm complex Foyngården where whaling pioneer Svend Foyn was born in 1809. The old building was rehabilitated according to historic preservation principles; it was dismantled log by log, restored and rebuilt – all in collaboration with the National Heritage Board.
At the same time, we built a new hotel extension with 50 rooms and conference rooms at Quality Hotel Tønsberg. Since then, we have had ongoing assignments at the hotel.
